1. What year was each planet discovered and who was credited for discovering the planet. If no year or person is credited about what time was it discovered and by what group of people were first credited with the discovery?
2. How and why was the planet named and who did the naming. Some planets have more than one name so provide as many names for each planet as possible?

1. In 2008 we now know more about each planet then when they were first discovered and named. With new information available and with new terminology being used today I would like you to rename each planet with a new modern name. The new name should have facts or features of the planets incorporated with the new name you have given for each planet.
